I was given this PS2 slim for free from a good friend of mine who got it from someone else. When I recieved this console, I fixed the a few issues and performed the following modifications:
REPAIRED/REPLACED:
• Bad Laser Lens
• Protruding Lens Ribbon Cable
• Dead Clock Battery
MODIFICATIONS/INSTALATIONS:
• Modbo 5.0 modchip
This console has been cleaned inside and out, tested thoroughly and works great. System displays a clean picture with no visual or audio glitches. Disc drive reads CD's, DVD's and Dual Layer games flawlessly. DVD based games sometimes require a reset or two for the laser timing to adjust, but once the disc reads, there are no issues.
The controller has also been cleaned inside and out, tested and works great! I found no issues with the buttons or sticks while testing it. The power supply is original but the AV cord is generic.
